For Recruiters Scouting for Executive Personnel (Head Hunters)
I've just entered my tenth year as an executive recruiter, or "head hunter." This book examines the basic content of the head hunting process from three perspectives:
1) that of the candidates who are recruited;
2) that of the managers or personnel officers who commission the search; and
3) that of the recruiter who actually conducts the search.
The phrase "head hunting" is already in common use, but people often fail to grasp its actual meaning, leading to confusion and sometimes undo suspicion. This book tells specific stories that highlight how head hunting actually works so that readers can deepen their understanding and come to hold a more positive image of the process.
