A book that even people who are not considering a job change should read
After publishing Tenshoku de Kyaria o Tsukuru! (Change Jobs and Build Your Career!) (see below), I received many comments from readers who really wanted a book dealing with the previous step in the job change process, i.e. deciding whether or not to take the plunge. So I wrote Tenshoku Shindan (Job-change Checkup) in response to their requests.
The previous book was targeted at people who already had some interest in changing jobs, but this book was written to offer introductory advice to people who have never even considered changing jobs. Although businesspeople have various attitudes to switching jobs, in today’s world everyone has to take an interest in the issue, and this book provides advice on how to make sure you don’t mistime your job change.
One major feature of this book is case studies focusing on people who decided they were not ready to change jobs.
Should I take the plunge or wait?
